The Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway is wholly owned by Berkshire Hathaway Inc.,headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas, who purchased the remaining 70% in 2010. The BNSF Railway is one of the top transporters of intermodal freight in North America. It is refreshing that someone like Warren Buffett with money and influence would invest in our rail system.
