Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania

This picture taken of the Marble Wall which designates the Flight Path of the United Flight 93 that crashed in the field on September 11, 2001. The Hemlock Wood Gate that one sees in center front of the picture is open only to those relatives of the 40 victims that lost their lives that day. The names of the 40 victims are etched in the Marble Wall just beyond the break in the Wall. The Crash site is just beyond the Hemlock Wood Gate. There are still plans for a Visitor Center, Tower of Voices, and a Walkway and 40 Memorial Graves in the future.
