JoePa
This one is for all the Nittany Lions fan out there. Joseph Vincent Paterno better known as JoePa was and still is the winningest NCAA Division I College Football Coach of all times with 409 victories. He coached for nearly 46 years after being fired with nine (9) games into the 2011 season.
A little tidbit of information on the four (4) player statues numbered 22, 82,86, and 43 located behind him are (22) John Cappelletti and (43) Adam Taliaferro. The remaining numbers 82 and 86 are for the years he won the National Championships. It is too bad that his legacy will be remembered mostly for the scandal at the very end. I revisited this site on September 1, 2013 to find This Memorial no longer exist due to the aforementioned scandal.

It's too bad that he didn't realize that it was time to retire before all this bad busines surfaced. Not quite in the John Wooden mold, though, at any rate.
