The news today was the temperature, I awoke early this morning to 70F and around 2:00 this afternoon the temperature hit the 109F mark on the car thermometer. Gasoline was at $4.29/gallon and just making me ache as much as the high temperatures. It was a very long day today as one has to drive many miles inside Death Valley to see all the sites. If one wants to see all the sites, two days are needed. Let me be the first to wish a Happy Mothers Day to all the Mothers out there, especially to Mom, Lori, Jenn, Carol, Marcy, and Debbie.
I am ready to start the trek up to San Francisco tomorrow. It will be a two day jaunt from Ridgecrest.
