Curiosity Rover

This picture taken at the Tech Museum in San Jose, California of a full scale model of the Curiosity Rover scheduled to land on Mars on August 5, 2012.  Curiosity is five times larger (about the size of a car) than the Spirit or Opportunity Mars Exploration Rovers that were previously used to explore Mars.  The mission of Curiosity basically has four goals; determine if Mars is or has ever been able to support life, collect data for a human mission, study the geology of the planet, and study the climate.
