Neptune Pool

This picture taken of the Neptune Pool of the Hearst Castle in San Simeon, California.  The name came for the statue of the Roman sea god atop the Temple shown in the background.  The pool ranges in depth from three to ten feet, and holds 345,000 gallons of mountain fed water.  It was heated year round from 1936 to the mid 70s.
