This morning the temperature was 49F when I left Eugene, Oregon in the rain. The temperature never did rise more than 55F all day. There was more rain, snow, and sunshine all along the route 58 and 62 to Crater Lake. The temperature actually dipped to 34F at the top of Rim Village, the South Rim of Crater Lake. Seems most of the Northern Parks with elevation of 5,000 and above are difficult to see at this time of the year. Gasoline purchased today cost $3.999/gallon which seems to be a norm in the Northwest. I was a bit disappointed not being able to photograph Crater Lake but I have been in this situation before. The picture I took actually came out better than I had thought. The camera actually saw more than I did. I am planning to visit Klamath Falls and to head into Northern California tomorrow. I am betting the girls want me to stop at another California Winery also.
TGIF tomorrow folks!
