This picture was taken of Emerald Bay on the Southwest shore of Lake Tahoe on Route 89 California side. This is a National Natural Landmark which recognizes and encourages the conservation of natural history. The Park also includes Eagle Falls, a 38 room mansion called Vikingsholm, and the only island in Lake Tahoe, Fannette Island shown in the photo. This is top 3 folks!
