Sundial Bridge
These pictures were taken of Sundial Bridge in Redding, California. The reason for two photos is I could not show the complete structure of the bridge in one shot. The bridge which has a total length of 700 feet and a width of 23 feet was completed in 2004. The bridge allows bicycles and pedestrians to cross the Sacramento River for access to the North and South areas of Turtle Bay Exploration Park, a complex containing environmental, art and history museums. Carol I am betting even you would cross this one.
By the way this sundial works like one of my old clocks in that it only tells the correct time once a year, that being on the Summer Solstice.
