Mount St Helens Revisited Day-Day 23

Awoke in the morning with the temperature at 46F and for the most part of the day it did not rain.  The temperature did drop to 36F at the top of the trek up route 504 to Mt St Helens.  The high for the day was 58F during the afternoon drive along Historic Columbia River Highway.  The rain did return during the last two hours of the drive from Portland to Eugene, Oregon.  It wouldn't be right if there was no rain in the forecast in the Great Northwest.  It is some of the most beautiful scenery in the entire country, however.  Gasoline was purchased twice in the day at $3.979/gallon and $3.899/gallon.  The most important part of the today was that I did indeed get to see Mt St Helens.  This definitely is a must see sight if traveling to the Northwest.
I am off to Crater Lake today and Klamath Falls if time permits.
Hump day has passed for the week folks!
